1. CrimeSpider

"Crime Spider searches for the best crime and law enforcement sites, then categorizes topics so you don't have to sort through hundreds of sites to find the one that fits the bill." You'll be able to find pretty much anything crime-related with the CrimeSpider search engine; I also appreciated their very organized directory of crime topics.

2. CopSeek.com

CopSeek gives you instant access to thousands of law enforcement sites. Use the drop-down menus next to the main search query bar to really narrow down your search; or browse through the CopSeek directory of available topics.

3. SexCriminals.com

Sex offender registries, a searchable database of sex offender information and statistics, and help for victims of sexual crimes.

Interesting law enforcement search engine that I stumbled across - it's the FirstGov powered search of the FBI's Freedom of Information Privacy Act (FOIA). Lots of crime statistics and law enforcement information available here.

5. Officer.com

Law enforcement agency search, officer search, and crime sites search available at this very extensive site.

6. Special Forces Search Engine

Search through over 10,000 military and government sites here; I thought it was interesting that this search engine was put together by former members of the Special Forces.

Search through the US Department of Justice's extensive crime statistics and listings; you'll especially want to check out the Advanced Search text link below the main search query bar for an extremely detailed law enforcement search.

8. Search The FBI Laboratory

Search back issues of the Forensic Science Communications, a publication of the FBI Laboratory, and the actual FBI Laboratory itself.

9. FindLaw.com
